In the late-eighties, thanks to my youngest daughter’s obsession with Indiana Jones, I began to notice a leitmotif running through Spielberg’s films. Hah! There were the flying monkeys…the chanting soldiers in furry hats…even Nazis melting. “Oh, what a world!”
